Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 1 March 2026

Welcome to Neath Taxi Cabs. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services and our website, located at https://www.neathtaxicabs.co.uk.

By booking a journey with us, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Neath Taxi Cabs if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Booking and Fares

  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
  • For local journeys, fares are calculated based on the council-approved taximeter or a pre-agreed fixed price.
  • For airport transfers and long-distance journeys, a fixed price will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • Any deviations from the originally booked route requested by the passenger may result in additional charges.

2. Passenger Conduct

  • Passengers are required to wear seatbelts at all times during the journey, as per UK law.
  • Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes or vaping devices, is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles.
  • The consumption of food and alcohol is not permitted in the vehicles unless prior consent has been granted by the driver.
  • Soiling Charge: In the event that a passenger soils or damages the vehicle, a standard soiling charge (up to £100) will be applied to cover the cost of professional cleaning and loss of earnings.

3. Delays and Cancellations

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for the cancellation of airport transfers or long-distance bookings to avoid cancellation fees.
  • While we make every effort to arrive on time, Neath Taxi Cabs cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including severe traffic, roadworks, accidents, or extreme weather conditions.
  • We strongly advise passengers to book their airport transfers with ample time to spare prior to their flight check-in. We are not liable for missed flights or connections due to unforeseen delays on the road.

4. Luggage and Lost Property

  • Passengers must inform us at the time of booking if they have a large amount of luggage, oversized items, or require a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, so the appropriate vehicle can be dispatched.
  • The driver reserves the right to refuse to carry luggage that is excessively heavy or bulky, or that may damage the vehicle.
  • Any property left in our vehicles will be handed into our base or the local police station. It is the passenger’s responsibility to contact us to arrange the retrieval of lost property.

5. Zero Tolerance Policy

Neath Taxi Cabs operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour towards our staff and drivers. Any such behaviour will result in the immediate termination of the journey without refund and may be reported to the police.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
